For this project, the filmmaker was interested in a film with longer takes to convey a sense of stillness and ennui to certain scenes; this would also serve as a contrast to the more kinetic parts of the film where the camera moves. Because the film was shot without an abundance of coverage, the editing approach tended towards a more minimalist, poetic treatment.
